2. Discharge precautions

  • Please discharge waste in properly designated containers (10L for incineration and special treatment, 20L for reduction, neutralization, and coagulation sedimentation in two lipped white polyethylene containers). (In the Honjo North District, 10 L containers have been substituted for 7 L containers (dialysis containers).
  • Make sure that there is no damage to the container or lid that could cause leakage.
  • The liquid should not reach the container lid. Leave some empty space (about 20%) at the top to minimize potential leaks during transportation.
  • Attach a record of the experimental liquid waste storage (output from YAKUMO) to the container and clearly list its contents.
  • Attach it securely so it will not peel off easily even if it gets wet.
  • If you use a string, attach it to the container firmly so it will not come off easily.
